Bush convenes Plunge Protection Team

On Friday, Mr Bush convened the so-called Plunge Protection Team for its first known meeting in the Oval Office. The black arts unit - officially the President's Working Group on Financial Markets - was created after the 1987 crash.

This was just in from one of my favorite websites, Minyanville. "The lone economic figure released today was existing home sales."  There is such a great article to read in: "You Can't Drive Your House to Work." Another great article is "Who Will Protect This House? " The existing homes numbers were in line with expectations and seems promising.  Let's hope so...sign me ,"Happy 2007 is Gone".
