Las Vegas Realtor Steve Harless - RE/MAX EXTREME 702.217.1680: Potential home buyers have stayed on the sidelines

Potential home buyers have stayed on the sidelines

Potential home buyers have stayed on the sidelines as they expect prices to drop further in 2008. Economists predict the housing market will not bottom out until the summer, and even then will remain sluggish.

On the positive, inventory, and selection of homes is the best we have seen in years and will probably not see this for years to come.

In my opinion anything is better than the last 2 years....I feel the market is getting back on track judging from all the business being generated online and i the office at Realty World. good luck to all! Steve

Anyone thinking of buying couldn't have a better market to play in.

Personally I think it is a great time to buy. Selection/inventory is starting to go back up, rates are low and sellers are open to negotiate.

It seems to be normal for consumers to sit on the sidelines while prices are going down.  The mistake most seem to make is wait until prices are going up by leaps and bounds and jump on the crowded bandwagan.
