STOCK MARKET FUTURES FALL OFF A CLIFF! watch for the bad news Monday as things are starting to really fluctuate in the stock market.
Maybe all will be ok, if this transcends into the oil market. I personally see a major correction coming and hope not too many people will be hurt from this. Guess it is the nature of the market. be well, and hope things are not as bad as I think they will be this Monday! later, Steve

well the futures are bound to come down after all the increases...should be okay..nothing we can do though..we'll see monday.
Hey Steve,
If the stock market falls and I lose my retirement think we can get a government bailout?
:)

I personally dont think that oil should even be a future on the stock market for those that have no intent of even using it. What I mean is that if an investor has no method of refining it and no intention of doing anything but swapping it later, then they shouldn't be allowed to purchase it. With that being said, if those types of investors do lose a lot of money then so be it. They have taken the same risk as many "Real Estate Investors" did back in '05 and '06 with the only difference being is that the RE Investors could actually put their hands on their investment and it wasnt just a paper trail that affects every single person in the developed world.
I could go on and on with this topic and eventually lead to blaming the current fuel crisis on investors but I think you get my point.
sure susan,,,,only cause your from TEXAS! :)
Steve, I just read the news on the futures market. Monday won't come slow enough. It may certainly result in a downward spiraling occurrence.
I've heard it was a bad day. NOT GOOD. But this is the type of market we are in. Buy sell off, Buy, sell off. That's how the big boys make $$$
I'm a contrarian .... so I went LONG today (Friday). Wish me luck!
I am watching for the 2 Big ones in our life....The Big Earthquake in California, and the Big market crash coming soon.

They'll make a movie about this and call it "Weekend at Berneke's!" They have tried to keep this afloat for some time now, but the numbers are pretty awful! The price of oil has added to the perfect storm! Folks are just waking up to the fact things really are not getting better.
LOL,,,good one Jim!
stand by for the worst tommorow! but it too shall pass!
Seems the doom and gloom is running a bit late. ;)
